Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to expand G2B commercial payments opportunities with public-sector entities and state‑controlled financial institutions in Brazil, with emphasis on priority regions. The ideal candidate has a strong track record selling technology and commercial payments into government, trusted relationships with decision‑makers, and fluency in public procurement processes. Prior experience with B2B/G2B commercial payments is required. Beyond public procurement and development initiatives, this role will consultatively position complementary technology offerings (e.g., advanced analytics and digital protection), working in collaboration with ecosystem partners and closely with Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS). Success requires understanding institutional and cultural nuances in Brazil’s public sector and aligning solutions to regional and national modernization priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a commercial payments strategy for government bodies, public financial institutions, and regional development initiatives.
- Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders across strategic regions.
- Identify and qualify opportunities across a portfolio of commercial payment and adjacent technology solutions, including high‑value offerings.
- Co‑sell with partners (financial institutions, fintechs, and technology providers) to strengthen proposals for public‑sector clients. Navigate public‑sector procurement and tendering processes. Collaborate closely with internal teams—especially VCS—along with Solutions, Consulting, Government Engagement (GE), Marketing, Legal, Product, and Finance to align go‑to‑market and ensure delivery. Lead presentations, negotiations, and proposals for complex, long‑cycle opportunities. Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
