The engineer must be a subject‑matter expert—or possess deep, hands‑on experience—in designing and implementing solutions within AWS. Responsibilities include gathering and refining technical requirements, facilitating clear communication across internal teams, and influencing or guiding key architectural decisions. This role offers the opportunity to learn, lead, and contribute to the design and evolution of technologies that power all Value Added Services across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide AWS subject‑matter expertise, including cloud architecture and security.
- Design and rearchitect large‑scale, event‑driven, high‑availability AWS solutions.
- Ensure strong software security practices across AWS applications and data.
- Apply robust testing skills and testing processes within AWS environments.
- Use Docker and related container technologies effectively.
- Build quick POCs and convert concepts into production‑ready products.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions.
- Write clean, zero‑defect code and communicate status, risks, and issues clearly.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams and create documentation for installation and maintenance.
- Partner with global teams and identify opportunities for continuous product and process improvement.
