We are seeking talented Platform Engineer Manager to join our dynamic team responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining our on-premises cloud platforms. You will play a pivotal role in designing highly available, secure, and scalable solutions, while enabling the adoption of cutting-edge technologies such as Generative AI (GenAI), container orchestration, and infrastructure automation.
The Work itself:
- Take complete end-to-end ownership of one or more applications.
- Translate business requirements and source system understanding into technical solutions.
- Development and Implementation of the proposed solution.
- Identify or develop software frameworks to be used.
- Refactor existing solutions to make it reusable and scalable.
- Come up with Coding and Design best practices.
- Manage, Lead and mentor team, deliver tech talks to wider audience.
- Thrive in self-motivated internal-innovation driven environment.
- Integrate with agentic framework and mindset to leverage Generative AI.
- Able to think creatively about how to apply GenAI to improve and innovate within the payment technology space.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate GenAI solutions into existing systems.
Essential Functions:
- Provides strategic technical and functional leadership for platform as well as a thorough understanding of the business to direct strategy on collecting and understanding requirements.
- Leads meetings with product partners to recommend development and solution strategies that improve the design and functionality of interface features across a range of payment products.
- Formalizes standard processes on the use of programming languages (e.g. HTML, C++, Java) to write code that fulfills website modification requests and technical requirements.
- Leads and plans the piloting and integration of new technology capabilities and features that enhance the user website experience across e-commerce products.
- Analyzes patterns across bugs and implements systemic solutions to ensure websites remain functional and easy to use.
- Plays a significant role in the development and delivery of new features within a product from end-to-end.
