Visa is searching for a Senior Director of Practice Development, Commercialization & Go-to Market for the Europe Marketing Services Team to help us build and commercialize new solutions that sit at the intersection of our clients’ priorities and investment areas. As the Marketing Services business continues to rapidly scale and grow in the coming years, this is a critical focus area as we aim to help clients grow their business, through increased awareness, acquisition, usage, loyalty, and retention. This individual will be an expert in developing and executing effective end-to-end campaigns, demonstrates strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate client briefs into actionable strategies and have deep knowledge of the various Marketing Technology Platforms available in the industry that underpin effective digital marketing campaigns.
As a key member of the Europe Marketing Services leadership Team, the selected candidate will advance the strategy, vision, and go-to-market approach to help achieve the Marketing Services financial growth aspirations in the coming years. This person will be responsible for building the Practice Development function with an initial focus on Digital Acquisition and Portfolio Management. In addition, this person will lead the development of new capabilities in partnership with the Global Marketing Services team and specifically within the region, such as the development and expansion into CMS clients and content, expansion of internal agency and other new solutions. This role will also partner closely with the Marketing Digital Experiences to advance the MarTech capabilities and solutions.
This position will report directly into the Vice President, Europe Marketing Services.
Key Responsibilities
Specifically, this individual will:
Lead development of a new Lifecycle Marketing Practice Area (digital acquisition and portfolio management) within the Marketing Services Business, including the creation of in-depth playbooks and sales materials that help us win new business with clients. They will also work closely with client marketing lead to help sell in these solutions to key clients.
Lead the development of commercialization strategies for available assets and provide strategic guidance to cluster teams to ensure delivery against defined commercial targets
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in client conversations to demonstrate how Visa can help clients execute holistic, personalized campaigns across channels to grow their portfolios, in close partnership with the Client Marketing Services Teams.
Partner with DXC, Product, Technology, and more to identify the right Marketing Technology Platform(s) to deliver effective Digital Marketing Campaigns for our clients, and oversee the commercialization efforts, including:
Regional prioritization
Audience prioritization
KPIs
Pricing & Contracting
Sales Enablement
Advertising + Communications
Training
Post-Launch Activities
Build new capabilities, content and upskill the team across new areas like CMS, creative as a service and other key areas of importance.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
