The Migrations Squad leads Visa’s strategic client transitions, ensuring seamless platform upgrades with zero disruption. We partner cross-functionally to deliver high-scale migrations that meet strict SLAs, reduce operational overhead, and reinforce client trust through automation and reliability. As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll help shape the future of Visa’s migration capabilities, driving impact across global markets.
What you will do:
- Design systems that impact 40% of the world’s population while influencing Visa’s standards for scalability, security, and reusability
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create design artifacts and develop best-in-class software solutions
- Contribute to product quality, service technology, and new business flows in agile squads
- Develop scalable products for diverse customers, including merchants, B2B, and government solutions
- Leverage innovative technologies to build next-gen Payment Services, Transaction Platforms, Real-Time Payments, and Buy Now Pay Later solutions
- Make a global or local impact through mentorship and continuous learning
- Apply technical knowledge to understand requirements and improve interface design and functionality
- Use standard programming practices to implement website modifications and technical features
- Support piloting of new capabilities that enhance user experience across e-commerce products
- Analyze and debug simple issues using appropriate tools
