As Program Manager, you will drive the program by overseeing execution and ensuring effective collaboration across teams.
What a Program Manager does:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead the cross-functional initiative to implement Visa Acceptance Solution’s tech stack in China. This pivotal role will drive the strategic execution of our Initiatives, ensuring the alignment of project deliverables with organizational objectives and superior quality standards. The role will require program managing groups across different teams at Visa, to ensure cohesive and collaborative efforts towards achieving our strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leveraging strong project management industry expertise and collaboration skills, identifying required activities to successfully deliver the program, ensuring appropriate task assignments are in place.
- Report and escalate issues, with mitigation and path to resolution.
- Identify risks, perform risk analysis, escalating as appropriate. Follow defined Risk Management processes.
- Oversee and ensure all status materials are compiled and completed in a timely fashion, document and distribute project and activity status on a regular basis to the Program team.
- Assess existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in other project related activities as requested.
- Facilitate collaboration across various functions including Regional and Global Product Management, Product Development, Clients, and Partners.
Why this is important to Visa:
The Program Manager will be an integral part of our Product Operations team supporting the Product Management organization to ensure superior operational delivery for the China Localization Programme. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional programs that include, but are not limited to, the following lifecycle activities, product requirements, product build, training, legal, marketing, commercialization and go-to-market activities, and client communication. Additional tasks include providing regular status reporting, product roadmap updates, supporting the change management process, assist with annual planning, and other responsibilities as assigned. This position will include interacting directly with Product Managers, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and Visa cross-functional teams in a Global environment.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
