Apple is currently seeking an enthusiastic team player to join a dynamic and collaborative group as an Anthropometry Engineer focused on anthropometry and 3D data capture and exploration. You’ll have the unique opportunity to contribute to the development and continuing improvement of Apple hardware products by designing mechanical rigs and implementing scanning protocols from a human interaction perspective.
The role requires working at the intersection of many disciplines, on a variety of projects and with multiple partners. Curiosity to delve into new domains, the ability to learn from technical and non-technical cross-functional partners, and excellent communication are key.
Ideal candidates are are technical and skilled at setting up, operating, collecting, and analyzing outputs of quantitative data capture systems, such as motion capture. They intuitively think through anthropometric and anatomical considerations as they pertain to human-product interactions.
