The Global Marketing Sponsorship team is responsible for driving brand engagement, customer loyalty, and business growth through high-impact sponsorships worldwide. We are seeking a strategically minded Senior Finance Manager to act as the Finance Business Partner for this team, providing financial leadership, insight, and support for all global sponsorship activities. This role will partner closely with Marketing and Sponsorship leadership, ensuring optimal investment decisions and maximizing the return on Visa’s sponsorship portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership & Strategic Support

  • Act as the primary Finance Business Partner to the Global Sponsorship team within Marketing, providing financial expertise, guidance, and challenge to shape strategy and decision making.
  • Collaborate with Marketing / Sponsorship, and crossfunctional teams to evaluate new sponsorship opportunities, partnerships, and marketing campaigns, including business case development and ROI analysis.
  • Support contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring financial terms align with Visa’s objectives and deliver value.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning process for the global sponsorship portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sponsorship spend, pipeline, and performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing investment.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the impact of sponsorship initiatives and support scenario planning.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sponsorship effectiveness, customer engagement, and brand impact.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual sponsorship financial reports, business reviews, and executive presentations.
  • Communicate complex financial information in a clear and actionable manner to both financial and non financial stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Ensure transparency, accuracy, and integrity in all financial reporting related to sponsorship and marketing initiatives.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Continuously improve financial processes, reporting, and controls to enhance efficiency and support strategic objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all sponsorship related financial activities.
  • Stay current on industry trends, sponsorship valuation methodologies, and best practices in marketing finance.
