Business Development Manager

Visa is looking for a results-driven, tech-curious Business Development Manager with a passion for value-based solution selling. In this role, you will sell the entire portfolio of Visa solutions, define account strategies and align the necessary resources to deliver your account plans, while building strong client relationships. Qualified candidates will possess a proven track record of building strong internal and external relationships and a relentless drive to excel in sales. Key functions:

  • Build and execute client accounts strategies, annual plans, manage client relationships, and coordinate sales and post-sale resources like Specialist Sellers and Client Success Managers
  • Support key sales motions across different sales and support functions (Specialist Sellers, Sales Engineers, Client Success Managers, etc.)
  • Lead upselling and cross-selling initiatives within existing accounts identifying compelling value propositions that address customer needs
  • Support new business development and expansion of existing accounts by identifying client pain points
  • Create and manage a pipeline of clients and new sales opportunities, negotiations, and deal closing
  • Negotiate client incentive and business renewals
  • Support and execute territory plans to increase sales and market share within existing accounts
  • Drive operational efficiencies and orchestrate other supporting teams to ensure maintenance and improvement of portfolio performance
  • Demonstrate understanding of the payments landscape and technology solutions to implement creative strategies to grow Visa’s business
  • Foster productive relationships at all levels with clients and the Visa organization
  • Participate in sales meetings and training activities
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date account information by maintaining rigorous CRM data hygiene and adherence to data management best practices
  • Safeguard data integrity and compliance with Visa Policies

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
