Metrology Manager - Optical Technologies

Apple designs consumer electronics that have touched millions and changed the way people interact with electronic devices around the world. These products have cameras, displays, and other optical sensors that need calibration and testing to ensure the best customer experience. The Hardware Test Engineering (HWTE) group is responsible for developing technologies, methodologies, and instruments for the calibration and testing of every single Apple product before it leaves the factory. These solutions will be developed prior to New Product Introduction (NPI) before they are deployed and scaled by the partner teams. The role of this Metrology Manager is to lead and grow a team that designs proof of concept metrology and validates them for the calibration/testing of our optical technologies. This candidate will work closely with Optical Sensor, Display & Camera Design groups within Apple to ensure the success of the current and future Apple products.
